Scenario
You have an amazing story to tell, an inspiring idea to share or an important message to impart. You know the world needs to hear it, but you’re afraid of being judged, making a fool of yourself or worst of all, sending your audience to sleep. Your weak and ineffective delivery, plus confusing and cluttered slides mean you are losing confidence and failing to build your reputation.
Solution
Develop speaking and presentation skills that are polished and authentic to your message and have content that is clear, succinct, and relevant. Develop the power to speak to your audience for Impact, Influence, and to inspire.
Session Content
Our initial sessions will be about clarity of message. We’ll look at your content and dig beneath the surface of who you are and how it relates to your personal brand and to your audience. We will discuss the presentation, the intention and motivation behind making it and why your audience should care.
- Review draft presentation and content.
- Clarify the content. Make sure it’s clear and exciting.
- Who is the audience and why they are important?
- Clarify the support materials. This is where we look at your content, (slides or script) and discuss how to present them for the greatest impact.
- Work on delivery. How do you sound and how do you look?
- Rehearse, feedback and dress run!
By the time it comes to performing your presentation you’ll know it so well that you’ll be confident and excited to share your story and your idea no matter how intimidating the audience.
The course will include a minimum of four 1-2-1 meetings, in person or via Zoom, and include independent study.
